Thanks to the generosity of our supporters the Canadian Cancer Society is leading the way in the fight against cancer. The Christmas Card Campaign funds advanced research, courageous advocacy work, accurate information, vital prevention programs and support services such as Daffodil Place.

WPMP Artist Ambassador Lloyd Pretty participates in Newfoundland's Nature Festival to kick start the tourist season.

Cultural events with live entertainment will take place at the Holiday Inn in Stephenville and will include a tribute to legendary fiddler Emile Benoit. There will also be nature painting with artist Lloyd Pretty, a nature walk at the IAT trailhead, which starts in Noel’s Pond, as well as “Our feathered friends and their environment” beach walk in Stephenville Crossing.

WPMP Artist Ambassador Lloyd Pretty moves to his new studio at Estephenville in Newfoundland Canada. this has been a goal he had been pursuing so that he could devote a lot more time to painting. Lloyd also serves as a member of  the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Councils.
