Emir Bukovica, who is the front man for his band Emir & Frozen Camels meet backstage with Rocker Lenny Kravitz who was performing in the Croatian city of Zadar.

The two artists have been friends for many years, they respect and support each other's musical musical directions. Emir shared with Lenny a copy of his latest hit "Alina" (no pasaran) and the two talked about possible future collaboration.

Emir was recently in Florida, recording at Translucent Records a new CD album record.

following are a few images from Kat's North Carolina visit at the light center and a narrative in her own words.

I had a GREAT time in North Carolina!! Hot summer days enhanced by fresh, juicy, cool peaches and fresh white corn sold by charming locals at a roadside produce stand. I enjoyed glimpses of a crystal clear river as it trickled, pooled, and thundered alongside the winding mountain road. Flowers, hummingbirds, and butterflies were inspiring.

Black Mountain Light Center was an interesting concert venue, far away from anything but mountains and wilderness. You couldn't hear ANY traffic noise.....

The dome had very interesting acoustics. It had a complex slap back that created a rhythm when I played flute, and the echo was different depending on where I stood  in the dome. The dome dictated the tempo and rhythm of the music, if I didn't abide by that, then the dome would fight with the music.

I also recorded a lot of very cool music with the guys. They live in a beautiful house on a mountainside in Hendersonville, NC.

Together, we, Peter, James, Nathan and Miko created a brand new sound which will be featured on our upcoming album, and at our concert in Lake Lure in October.

Dear friends, it is with great excitement that I introduce a new funding source for our collaborative project. Kalon Baquero has designed, created and launched a wonderful WPMP Gift Shop. The shop coincides with WPMP's implementation of Phase II of the project, the goal being the fabrication of the remaining 190 Peace Markers and the logistic work of pairing each Peace Marker with a corresponding Artist Ambassador around the world.
