UPDATE FROM JAPAN!

March 29, 2011

WPMP Ambassador to Japan Ms. Shigemi Okubo and her family are OK! I have just received an email from Ms. Okubo with the good news.

She was at her studio in Hitachi at the time of the earthquake, She and her assistants managed to leave the building safely although many of her glass works where broken during the 6.5 magnitude earthquake at Hitachi. Although she had to spend the night in her car in cold weather the effects of the disaster were not as severe as those of the northern part of Japan.

We are very relieved that our friends are OK and we extend our love and a sincere pledge to help in whatever way we can.

The railroad station that will house Peace Marker Japan was not damaged but understandably the inauguration was cancelled until things return to normal. It is only proper at this time, to note that our attention and best wishes for our friends and all of Japan is in our hearts.

Dearest Shigemi…

How can even one word from a hu-man meets up with the situation that hit your Houses of the Rising Sun, by such Force? I have searched my heart to find a sentence that will help me understand what you are going through, to offer some comfort. I know also that there is always a hidden reason behind any situation that happens lately with humanity and our planet Earth, that is far, far from ordinary understanding, but still. Let me share what resides within my heart. I only have Unconditional Love that is powerful enough to feel with you, to go into another morning with you, to offer a bit of understanding and hope that this situation will bring people together, to help each other find some kind or any kind of understanding. For all those lost souls that given their lives as a Gift to Humanity. Gift with no price tag on it, gift that can bring us back together as human beings, to help each other see and feel with the people left there with nothing, within the situation, that is not an easy one. Let’s honor those that had lost life by acting as they would wish us to act. To come together, to feel and appreciate LIFE THAT REMAINS. Can we learn anything from this devastating event?
We can try, at least by Re-turning into our precious, loving Hearts, to find compassion and Love that is in need and in deed to your Country.

With my love.

Visible and invisible,
I am really sorry and felt deeply condemned with our Japanese friends. Hope they cope this apocalypse. Got give them courage.
Threat of life on the earth is going to bad from every prospect. It is socking the way nature acting in this way as the moment happening. We most of all get divested by these recent events. This is one visible part we suffered but another hand our internal compassion and life does damaged and threaten by many ways.
Hope we learn from these apocalypses and take responsibility toward the earth mother and nature. Climate change and global warming was not issue of political or scientific debate it is issue of every single people of this planet.
At the end, i wish to give my all support to my all of those friends how effected directly from this apocalypse. Also like stand by with our peace ambassador on hard situation.
Best regard,
Govinda Sah 'Azad'

Happy 5th Anniversary Peace Marker Turkey

Congratulations Ambassador Nurcan Turkoglu and all of our friends in Turkey.

Dear Friends:

“Worldwide Peace Marker Project has matured over the last nine years, to be able to exhibit a feature of its composition that reveals an aspect of its importance as a work of art at this very moment in the history of the world.

Worldwide Peace Marker Project is an example of a convergence between us humans as living organisms and planet Earth as a super-organism. Under that reconciliation, the Worldwide Peace Marker Project is an act of peace, the first act of peace really, between human civilization and the world itself.

Therefore, let it be known that because of the nature of this new art, Worldwide Peace Marker Project is more than a symbolic gesture, in fact it constitutes the first step to true recovery for humanity and for the environment of the world, as the perceived separation between humanity and the world begins to be eliminated before a true reconciliation can occur.

The Worldwide Peace Marker Project is proudly, a global landmark of that reconciliation and a proponent that such reconciliation of differences between humanity and Nature can be made in a spirit of world peace.”
