WPMP's Ambassador for Morocco Ahlam Lemseffer Takes part in international art exhibit opening July 17, 2010
We are pleased to invite you to the opening of the international exhibition, "Azemmour, land of peace and inspiration", which stands at the MAC Mazagan (Mahla Art Center) on 17 July 2010 to 17 hours. The exhibition continues until September 17, 2010. This exhibition brings together artists from Morocco, Austria, Mexico, Italy, Serbia, Croatia, Hungary. Despite the diversity of beliefs and affiliations, all converge towards a single goal, that of tolerance. The differences are manifold, but also expressions speech is the same. The collective message is a message of meeting, exchange and forgiveness. A message of openness, acceptance and respect for others. Fighting against violence and all forms of exclusion, show that diversity is enriched by cultural or religious experiences of human civilization and not a means of discord and hatred ahlam

Peace Marker Turkey gets its yearly make over! WPMP Artist Ambassador Nurcan Turkoglu shares with us images of Peace Marker Turkey, after it was maintained for the year in the lovely surroundings of Freedom Park in Kadikoy.
Ambassador Nurcan is very keen about pointing out the energy exchange between us humans at this moment in history, so how fortunate that she somehow captured a light glow at the site to express that sentiment as Peace Marker Turkey is maintained as one point of peace in our world that is active and radiant.
It is hard not to notice the presence of cats around that reside in the park in images gathered over the years. I have come to see them as Ambassadors from Nature doing the honor guard duty around the Peace Marker. been added ! Friends, for the past few days I have been receiving Copies of some of the notes by current WPMP Ambassadors addressed to our new Artist Ambassadors. It must be noted that the dialog between them is a remarkable event that affects the nature of our mission at many levels. For me personally, it is a humbling experience to see that along with the aesthetic of a work of art like WPMP, there is also the very rare and unique dialog which is laying out the foundations upon which the new narrative of a history of world peace is being constructed. Ambassador Esma Redzepova July 9, 2010 Dear Esma, I have closely witnessed that WPMP Ambassadors are very special energies who will maintain that world peace is "the truth itself " beyond hope. It wasn't hard to guess that artist peace ambassadors who has joined newly or who will in the future, have the same qualities. And I feel very happy to have the honor of Walking on the peace path full of light of the WPMP project with especially legendary artists like yourself. Name "Esma" is a name that is used in Turkey meaning "very beautiful, ascension. Your life story, success story, impressed me as much as your kind and beautiful face. The fact that we are in a very close geographical region gives me hope about getting together. June 23, 2010 From Ms. Eyona Cvitan, WPMP Artist Ambassador for Croatia Dear Esma, What amazing fortune for us to have you join our WPMP team of Ambassador Artists! Your popularity as an artist and your dedication to philanthropic work are legendary and a true inspiration. The fact that you have embraced WPMP is a testament to Tiite's vision and a great step towards realizing the dream that we have decided to share with him about a Global Peace Matrix; an Earth supported and redeemed; a reconciliation between nations and cultures; a reconciliation between man and nature. In this reconciliation it is a privilege to find myself representing Croatia, one of the former Yugoslav Republics, now through WPMP uniting again with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Serbia, Macedonia and hopefully soon Monte Negro. Uniting once again not within the political limitations of Yugoslavia, but within the expanse of a Global Art Installation where culture respects and supports culture and where man respects and supports his environment. Although Yugoslav Republics separated politically, artists like yourself know that spirit and art are larger than politics and that hearts are larger than national differences. Everyone knows you here in Croatia; but then you are such a citizen of the world and such an ambassador of the Roma culture that you are known in the true international sense. I greatly look forward to the opportunity of meeting you in our WPMP collaboration: not because you are a star and a music legend, but because you have dedicated your heart and your energy to just and worthy causes and by embracing WPMP you have, in fact, declared it such a just and worthy cause. From my heart, Welcome, welcome dearest Macedonian Soul of Beauty. We all know your songs that sing about Freedom and Peace and Love and Respect of other cultures around the World. We know how big and generous Heart is beating within your being. We know that your great Spirit and Soul will make even better and bigger steps towards humanity and those that need our help and unconditional understanding, because your adopted children, all 47 of them, are showing us, how generous and loving you are, dearest Esma. I am welcoming you again, among many beautiful Light souls, that are made of the same essence as every single being in this World, but there is not enough of them, still, that are doing the humanitarian steps and paying dues with our own life, for many generations, yet to come. I have known Tiite and Brent for a long time. They were always "out there" on the cutting edge of large, innovative and often controversial art projects. We must all find our way through the challenges of life and hopefully into some meaningful expression of our existence. Tiite and Brent have always followed the path of meaning instead of a path of comfort and complacency. They have dared to dream big and to stand behind those dreams; to keep dreaming when the rest of us lacked courage and conviction; to keep on going when the only voice was their own. It is important to understand that it is the conviction and the tenacity of these two friends and artists that have brought this project to where it is now. To the point that we can add our own voice to theirs and help dream a better and more meaningful world into existence. All of us who are in this project share a common belief in a world in which man is not above or outside of his environment and is not preoccupied with differences but is embracing similarities. I know that all of You, citizens of the Greece are having heavy times on your shoulders to live lately, but still. Your country has survived many turbulent times-past ages, so it will those. Sometimes you need to lose something, to appreciate it even more. But knowing, that WPMP Peace ART project, is always inviting very special, open hearted souls to join inn, I am so very happy, that Peace Portal will find its home, where it is so much needed right now. Socrates and Plato knew then, that they can trust those strong Light warriors with their wisdom, those warriors, that are marching right now, singing the Song of Survival and Better days. Maik, you are one of them. Go out and sing the song and dance a strongest dance of Zorba's, and let know your brothers and sisters, that the Key of a better Future, is within your own hands. No one knows better way out, but You. Get up, rise up and don't let dark tunnels, to override your golden paths. You have been there before and you all got out, as stronger and better man and women. WPMP Greece Artist Ambassador Maik Papagiannakis Introduces Peace Marker Greece during annual Klidonas celebration
by: WPMP Correspondent Brent Scheneman Images by Brent Scheneman June 27, 2010 Peace marker Greece to be installed in Armeni, Crete Armeni, Crete, June 24 — Peace Marker Greece will be permanently installed in the village square of Armeni on the Greek island of Crete. The President of the Cultural Association of the Armeni, Mr. George Averkakis, made the announcement to a gathering on June 24th of about 1000 attendees at the village’s annual Klidonas celebration. Maik Papagiannakis, WPMP’s new Artist/Ambassador, stood-by with Peace Marker Greece in hand.
Maik Papagiannakis, a sculptor, is the first WPMP Artist/Ambassador to have fabricated his nation’s Peace Marker by his own hands. Major media TV and press outlets of Crete interviewed Artist/Ambassador Papagianniaki on the occasion. Video and photo images of the marker were seen across Crete for the first time. Also, in attendance was Artist/Ambassador Eliza Monet of Peace Marker Germany.
Ambassadors Maik Papagiannakis and Eliza Monet Klidonas is a traditional Cretan holiday that occurs on the summer solstice and coincides with the Orthodox Feast Day of John the Baptist. In Armeni it marks the largest village celebration of the summer and showcases performances of the best of local folk musicians, dancers and poets. The ancient custom of fire-jumping is practiced by many villagers, old and young alike. This year the music and dancing continued non-stop until after 3 a.m.
Maik Papagiannakis is in planning meetings with Mr. Averkakis and other local elders and officials in the weeks to come regarding the design and installation of the pedestal, plaques and other site-work. The date for the official installation and the village celebration that is to take place in commemoration of the event will be announced soon.

On Sunday June 27, 2010 Artist Ambassador Mrs. Esma Redzepova Celebrated the high school Graduation of a group of very special student who in spite of being orphans overcame the obstacles to graduate and to be singled out by our WPMP Artist Ambassador for a monetary grant as a reward for their achievement.
